After a tough stage one leaving us with only five riders for the remainder of the race the rest of the guys came back battle. Chris Winn made the early move that stayed away most of the day. Just as it looked like things were going to plan we had a few mishaps with Chris getting a mechanical out of the break, Jake getting a flat, Austin taking a spill. Leaving Dillon and Grant to fend for themselves in the final. Stay tuned for stage three, the individual time trial.
The guys had a tough day missing the break and then working hard at the front to minimize the time gap. Due to some nutrition and hydration issues we lost two riders to DNFs today. Tune in tomorrow for stage two, road race.
