With most of the day to relax the guys head out for an easy cruise in the morning before the criterium in the afternoon. Yet another phenomenal day on the bikes for the guys with another one of our riders Griffin Easter jumping into the 6th place spot on the finish!
Day three at the tour of the gila brought an individual time trial and a chance to race the clock. Isaiah had another great day finishing in 7th bumping himself up one spot in the GC to 6th. With not as many miles as yesterday but some brutal wind it would turn out to be another big day for the tour of the gila squad. Cullen managed to get into the breakaway that stuck all day and was able to pull out a 4th place finish. Next up, the individual time trail! The Tour of the Gila squad had a fantastic first stage. Controlled the race into the bottom of the climb setting up Isaiah for an awesome 7th place finish. As we are out there racing we are keeping the memory of Chad in our hearts. It was a tragic accident that took him here last year and we dedicate every pedal stroke to him. We love you Chad.
Down to 4 riders on stage 4 of Joe Martin, bad luck stuck again with the the seat clamp slipping on Grants bike forcing him to ride out of the saddle and inevitably pull out of the race. Stage three of the race the guys face a 3 mile uphill time trial with some steep pitches.
